For long human hair or long pet hair, we'd look first at the roborock Qrevo S Pro. Its listing says it is built for homes with pets and long hair, with an all rubber main brush and a "zero-tangle" side brush, and its owner summary says many find it handles long hair well. Treat every tangle-free line as a maker claim. No listing we read shows a test behind it.

Why rubber brushes get named for hair
A bristle brush gives hair thousands of places to catch. A rubber brush has smooth fins, so hair has less to hold on to and is easier to pull off when it does wrap. That is the idea behind the claims above. How well it works in your home depends on how long the hair is and how much of it there is.
Where long hair still ends up
- The ends of the main brush. Hair travels along the brush and packs in at the bearings. Pull the brush out and check the ends, not just the middle.
- The side brush. It spins on a small post that long hair winds around.
- The front wheel. The Qrevo S Pro listing calls out an easy-to-clean wheel for a reason. Hair wraps the axle and the wheel starts to drag.
iRobot's care chart for its older Roomba series says to clean brushes once a week, and twice a week in homes with pets. With long hair in the house we'd keep to the twice a week habit on any robot until you see how yours copes.
The caveats
Owners of the Qrevo S Pro are split on overall satisfaction, and some say it does not handle dog hair. The Q10 S5+ has mixed reports on reliability.
